COOL KIDS! - L.O.V.E. (?)...How many frogs do you have to kiss before you will find The One?!

COOL KIDS! - Stop telephoning me!

COOL KIDS!

I first fell in love with fashion via pages of Vogue and I-D, and when I got my camera it was quite obvious what I was going to photograph. I use photography as a form of self- expression. I make my pictures for everyone.

I am strongly influenced by the fashion photographers such as Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, David Bailey, and David La Chapelle. Their fashion and editorial work for magazines like Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Interview, etc., is almost like a dream- like nature of a real life.

My choice of subject comes from all the different places. I find my inspirations everywhere, music, books, films, magazines, and of course other artist work. I like to create stories that are not obvious at first. I photograph people, usually in the studio where I compose my own set for the pictures and have a full control over the light.

My photography is quirky, fun, and colourful. I use digital SLR and recently I have begun to work with photoshop, which allows me to make some important changes and to create a new aspect of my pictures.

My current project is inspired by David La Chapelle's editorial and fashion work. COOL KIDS! is a story about love, fashion and frienship. Phone and the frog are resemblance of love- you have to kiss a lot of frogs in order to find that one special person, and dog and silver pig representing a great friendship.

I believe that fashion photography allows you to look at world differently, but also document changes in today's society, the way we think, feel and look. The photographs of COOL KIDS! come from that fascination of life.
